A/Captain Michael Kozemko began his law enforcement career in Pennsylvania before joining the Elmira Police Department in 2012. A/Captain Kozemko is a graduate of the University of Scranton having earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Accounting. A/Captain Kozemko has recently taken over the role of Commanding Officer for the Elmira Police Department afternoon platoon. A/Captain Kozemko is also the current Program Manager of the Accreditation program, a Field Training Officer, an Evidence Technician and a member of the Department’s Evidence Response Team.
