Subject: CPW and Menacing Arrest

On September 17, 2025 at approximately 11:30PM Elmira Police Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of West Gray Street for reports of a male subject threatening residents with a rifle. Officers detained subjects involved in a disturbance and investigated the incident. As a result of this investigation Officers arrested Davion Jones, 28, and Jeremy Wilson Jr., 31, both of Elmira, NY.

Jones was charged with 2 counts of Menacing in the Second degree, a Class A Misdemeanor, and 1 count of Failure to safely store rifles, shotguns, and firearms in the first degree, also a Class A Misdemeanor.

Wilson was charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree, a Class D Felony.

Both Wilson and Jones were held pending arraignment in Elmira City Court.
