Subject: Gun Shots – Broadway and West Ave
On October 8, 2024 around 1:18 AM, Elmira Police Officers were dispatched to the report of gun shots in the area of Broadway and West Ave in the City of Elmira. Caller reported hearing a number of gun shots, however, no further information was being provided. While arriving on scene, Officers located numerous spent shell casings in the roadway. Upon further investigation, a residence had been struck multiple times along with both vehicles parked in the driveway. There were no reported injuries and no other reported damaged property. No further information is being released at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
