Subject: Gun Shots – Stephens PL and Lake St
On October 22, 2024 around 11:50 PM, Elmira Police Officers were dispatched to the report of Gun Shots in the area of Stephens PL and Lake St in the City of Elmira. Several callers reported hearing a number of Gun Shots, however, no further information was being provided. While arriving on scene, Officers located numerous spent shell casings in the roadway. No one in the area reported any injuries or damaged property. No further information is being released at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
