Subject: Weapons arrest
On October 23, 2024 at approximately 7:49PM Elmira Police Officers responded to the 300 block of West 3rd St for a disturbance complaint. This complaint involved multiple people armed with a handgun. Officers detained several persons on scene. Officers arrested Slayten Davis, 33, Noah Tappan-Bright, 23, and a juvenile, all of Elmira, NY. All were charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd Degree, a class C Felony. Davis and Tappan-Bright were held pending arraignment. The juvenile was released to the custody of his guardians.
