Subject: Narcotics Arrest
On April 9th, 2025, at approximately 10:19 PM Officers from the Elmira Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the area of Park Pl and W Clinton St, after observing a vehicle conduct a traffic violation. Officers contacted the driver of the vehicle and identified him as Korey M Beck, a 30-year-old male from Binghamton, NY. After speaking with Beck, Officers learned that he was actively on NYS Parole out of Broome County and was out past curfew, without permission to leave Broome County. Officers also spoke with a female passenger, Angel N Feringa, a 36-year-old female from Binghamton NY.
Officers continued their investigation, and a search of the vehicle was conducted. The result of this search yielded a large quantity of Oxycodone Pills, several strips of Suboxone, a digital scale, a large quantity of US Currency, and over 5 Ounces of Methamphetamine.
As a result, Korey M Beck was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd, a violation of Penal Law 220.18-2, a class A-II Felony. Angel N Feringa was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th, a violation of Penal Law 220.03, a class A Misdemeanor.
Korey Beck is currently being held at the Elmira Police Department where he is awaiting arraignment. Angel Feringa was subsequently released on an appearance ticket with a return date for Elmira City Court.
