On April 10th, 2024 at approximately 4:15 am Elmira Police Department Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Hoffman St for a report of a motorcycle that had struck a residence. Upon arrival Officers found the operator had sustained serious injuries and was removed to a local hospital for treatment. At this time the motorcycle is believed to be the only vehicle involved in the crash.
This investigation is ongoing and no further details will be made available at this time. The Elmira Police Department would like to thank the Elmira City Fire Department, Erway Ambulance, and the New York State Police for their assistance in this matter.
